We will not go to the history of camera. I will just tell you how to use it.When ever you see settings of camera to see 24 fps or 25 fps or more. If you are shooting on 24 fps then there will 24 pictures in one secound that is known as film standard frames rate.If we play 24 pictures in speed then there will be no jump in it.It will seem like a smooth video to the human eye.
You can use any camera for film making.If you are an independent film maker then you can use any camera like Digital camera , Handy cam or any mobile cam.You can make a professional film with it.
DSLR camera is advance camera than other small cameras.You can make full HD videos with the help of them.They are from different companies like Canon or Nikon.Canon's DSLR are mostly used nos a days and they also provide a batter quality. Mostly short films, dramas or commercials, documentaries and Cinema Quality films are made with DSLRs. Now a days Cinema Quality movies are made by Canon 5d mark iii or mark ii and black magic is also a professional camera for film making
